Former Shabab Bourj forward, Sadick Adams, has classified the Chief Executive Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Albert Commey, as a fibster.
Albert Commey stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer of Aduana to land the new role at Eleven Wonders after it was reported that the management of Aduana Stars had stripped him of his voting right during the Ghana Football Association Presidential elections.
Sadick Adams claims he had a meeting with the experienced administrator when they had invited him to their match against Ebusua Dwarfs at Techiman.
Albert then convinced him to join Eleven Wonders in the second round.
He said they invited him for a meeting with the club leaders but he sat down for hours without a word from any of the leaders.
“They called me to the stadium during their match against Ebusua Dwarfs. He [Albert] called me into his car for a conversation and he told me he needs me to come and help the team in the second round.”He told Don Summer.
“He inquired if I am available and I gave him a positive answer. After the match, they invited me to a room with all the team leaders. I sat there for hours and nobody said a word to me. The next two-three days I called them and I was told the team manager will call me. The manager called and requested to speak to my agent and I told him, for now, I manage myself.
“He told me for other players he speaks to their agent so for my case, he will let [Nana] call me but I never heard anything from them again.”
He further disclosed, he granted an interview where he was inquired about the failed transfer to Eleven Wonders. He gave an honest reason but he was reportedly misquoted to Albert Commey.
“Days after, I granted an interview and I was inquired about that and I told the interviewer from the way they handled things ’I think they were not serious’ and that was an honest view. I was not furious about the fact that the deal collapsed but allowing me to sit for hours with none saying a word to me and failing to call me as promised, honestly, it shows they were not serious and they disrespected me as well.
“From there, someone misquoted me to them that I said ’I want to play for a serious club and not a club like Eleven Wonders’. They took it personal without seeking for clarification and he went to release a press statement saying I came to beg them to sign me.
“The big clubs in Ghana I have not begged them to sign me so how Eleven Wonders? He quizzed.
“Because he works for them so he came out to misinform the public about what transpired during our meeting. There are some things, because of evidence, you need to record it. If I had recorded him during our meeting, it would not have been like that. He has to be truthful tho the work put something into his pocket.
“He went ahead informing people he knows my personal life and what I did at other clubs. The truth is he does not know. It was just a meeting he called for and asked me to work for him. He does not know me. He needs to be truthful to himself” He added.
Albert Commey, during his tenure, saw Aduana Stars, the Ogya lads won the Ghana Premier League on two occasions as well participating in Africa Club competitions.
