The Local Black Stars of Ghana team that participated in the 2019 West African Football Union (WAFU) in Senegal are set to receive their bonuses today after representative had a successful meeting with the Ghana FA.
The 2019 WAFU tournament was staged between September 28 and October 13 in Senegal. The Black Stars B finished second to Senegal in the final on penalties after a pulsating 1-1 draw in 120 minutes.
After almost eight months of representing the nation on the African continent, the players and the Staff will finally be smiling to the bank as they receive their packages.

With the help of coach Maxwell Konadu and Team Manager Edmund Ackah, all stakeholders and everyone involved in the team that represented Ghana at the WAFU Tournament last year in Senegal will receive whatever package they are due later today.” HAT on FoxSports.
The Black Stars B edged pass the Gambia, Burkina Faso on penalties before thrashing neighbourhood country Ivory Coast 3-1 to reach the finals but they, unfortunately, lost to Senegal on penalties as defending champions.
