COVID-19 Test To Cost Division One Clubs $100 To Test Each Player

Ghana Football Association as part of the measures to bring back football has decided to test every player for COVID-19 before each league game.

The mandatory COVID-19 test the president of the association assured the government of Ghana during a delegation meeting as part of the measures to bring back football by the Ghana FA will be a cost to club’s management.

Ghana Division One League clubs have been informed about the cost to be incurred to test each player before every league game.

President of Division One Club, Unity FC, Mr Osei Richmond has disclosed that the medical team of the Ghana Football Association has informed the Division One clubs the cost to be incurred on each player.

Mr Osei Richmond made this disclosure on Fox Fm 97.9 that the Division One Clubs will have to pay $100 for each player before the season resumes and before each league game is honoured.

Ghana Football Association is in consultation with the government of Ghana and other health authorities to decide on the measures that will be safe for sporting activities to resume.
