GFA Settles Black Stars ’B’ 2019 WAFU Arrears

The Ghana Football Association has today May 22, 2020, settled the arrears due to the Black Stars B team that participated in 2019 WAFU Tournament in Senegal.

The FA has paid an amount of $25,000 to the players and technical team members of the Black Stars ‘B’ team that placed second in the 2019 WAFU tournament in Senegal.

The $25,000 arrears settled is the money the then Normalisation Committee of the GFA promised to pay to the team for their gallant display.

An amount of $25,000 has been released on Friday to be distributed to the the team as promised and it includes CHAN final qualifier against Burkina Faso.

The home based Black Stars were runners up to tournament hosts Senegal after losing the final match through penalty shootouts (1-1 full time).
