Swansea City vice captain Andre Ayew has switched his attention to the second leg of their promotion play-offs clash against Brentford on Wednesday.
The Ghana captain inspired the Welsh side to a first leg victory after netting the only goal against the Bees on Sunday to give his side the advantage.
“1st half done. Getting ready for the 2nd on Wednesday. All to play for. Let’s Go Jack Army,” he posted after the game.
Ayew volleyed in a ferocious strike from inside the box into the roof on 82 minutes.
The Ghana captain had missed a penalty in the 64th minute and needed that goal to conciliate the fans as well as make amends.
The 30-year-old has now scored 16 league goals- his highest tally ever in any league.
Brentford were reduced to 10 men after Rico Henry was given his marching orders for a two-footed challenge on Connor Roberts.
The Swansea vice captain picked the ball but goalkeeper Raya guessed correctly to deny him from 12 yards.
Brentford will host the Swans on Wednesday in the return leg to decide the winner of the other semi-final between Fulham and Cardiff.
