“Competence Is Key For Kotoko Job” – Sports Psychologist

Patrick Ofori a Sports Psychologist has called on Board of Directors of Asante Kotoko to consider competence over any other factor in the selection of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the club.

Speaking in an interview with Light FM, he said “the  person to be selected as Kotoko CEO must have the ability to create innovative ways to raise money, ethically grounded, good human relations with the supporters.

“He  must also be well versed in administration. This isn’t the time to consider club affiliation of the person, it is about the competence and ability to achieve the set targets,” he added.

According to Ofori  the Board should be willing to pay the right kind of money to attract the right kind of personnel to come in and raise the right kind of money  for them because if you pay peanuts, you will get monkeys to work for you.

He noted that he has good relation with Nana Yaw Amponsah and that if he is fit for the criteria of Asante Kotoko, he should be given the mandate but if not, then no.
