We Should Be Doing Big Things To Compete With Ahly And Mezembe- Chairman Solo

Popular Asante Kotoko supporters leader, Solomon Ofosu Ware has urged fans of the club to come together and work in helping the Porcupine Warriors reach the levels of African giants Al Ahly and TP Mezembe.

According to the man popularly known as Chairman Solo, fans play a significant role in transforming teams from one level to the other.

“If Kotoko can compete with the Ahly’s, Mazembe’s and other clubs, we should be doing things big,” he told Light Sports.

“The right apportionment of tools needed for the CEO will determine the results for the club. If Nana Yaw Amponsah should be appointed as CEO, he needs the requisite money and equipment to function and become successful.

“Asante Kotoko supporters can raise three (3) million dollars a season for the club. It’s very simple. IT technicians can create a database where every fan can get registered so raising such amount is simple.

“Christopher Damenya is a brother whom i love to help him during his reign with our knowledge. Most people around him is his biggest problem.

“He used to call me before the elections but after the elections he doesn’t call me anymore but i don’t give a damn about it. If everyone contribute his or her quota, it is the interest of Asante Kotoko first before anyone else.

“Right now, the WhatsApp platforms are taking over the circles. Their inputs has been amazing unlike the circles.”
