Alhaji Abdul Karim Gruzah President of Kumasi based, King Faisal Football Club, has said he feels vindicated after the Ghana Football Association (GFA) cancelled the 2019/20 football season.
“I earlier informed the GFA to cancel the league amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) but they resisted.
“According to Alhaji, though some few countries in Africa, there was no need to continue with ours, because conditions do not favour us.
“Thanks to all those who predicted relegation for the team, King Faisal.
“Meanwhile, King Faisal was not the only team being threatened by relegation. Why am I not happy with the league being cancelled, he questioned.
“I am a winner along with Ghana as a nation on the cancellation of the league”.
